HAPPYPLUG is a design blog for startups - by in large, the web kind.  Design and ui in startup companies is still a dark art.  It usually involves fear, crying, and alot of conference call yelling…and startup design and branding doesn’t need to be so.  And it doesn’t need to be voodoo.  Fear not, weary nerd..HAPPYPLUG is here to highlight the good stuff, make it less scary, and spread the good word about good design & ui for nerdy startup & founder types.  And above all else, to help nerds make prettier, more usable things.  A prettier, more usable world is a happier world.

I’m Andres Krogh. I’ve spent most of my career doing branding for startups and the occasional 800lb gorilla.  I’ve done work for a slew of top-secret-squirrel startups, and some you’ve heard of, and for them, them, and them.  And for my lovechild Flaunt.  And currently make propaganda for Twilio.
